PARKING

Parking is always an issue at Soldier’s Field.  First of all, we encourage you to car pool whenever possible.  Riding the RPT bus is also a good option if you park at Mayo High School, the Mall, or the County Fairgrounds.

We encourage you to park on Gibbs Drive each morning.  This area is reserved for Vendors, Exhibitors, and Volunteers.  That is where we will have our golf cart/ATV Transportation volunteers available to help.  One other option is to drive to the turnaround area between the swimming pool and the tennis courts, drop off your stuff, and then park your car.  If you are working the late shift, there will be parking available at five Mayo parking lots.  You can see these lot locations at the bottom of the home page on our website at www.rochesterfest.com

Once again, please carpool wherever possible

BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS

You have all been assigned a booth location.  There will be signs with numbers on them on the track area.  The golf cart brigade will take you to your location.  Be sure to know the number of your booth when you arrive at Soldier’s Field.

It was a challenging project for me to assign 191 booth assignments over a five-day period.  If you have a booth for multiple days, you should be able to stay at one location throughout the week.  Please don’t call me and ask be to switch your booth location, because the answer will be no.  If I move one booth, I have to adjust all booths for that day.  Just so you know, we have the following number of booths each day during Rochesterfest:
Tuesday—38 booths

Wednesday—46 booths

Thursday—59 booths

Friday—24 booths

Saturday—23 booths

Please let me know ASAP if your booth name is not listed.

Security

Rochesterfest will provide overnight security with 1.5 security officers their all evening starting on Monday, June 23rd. You are free to leave your tents up overnight. If there are potential weather issues, Randy will make several announcements to all attendees.

Need to remember

·      Tents must be weighted down.  No tent stakes in the ground.

·      You are responsible for bringing your own tents, chairs, displays, and providing your own manpower.

·      You are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of your booth and picking it up when done for the day.

·      Absolutely, no vehicles can be driven on the track—for any reason.

·      Be sure to provide some type of interactive/fun event at your booths.  Make it fun for the entire family.

·      Absolutely no vehicles to be driven on the grassy area inside the running track surface (Grass exhibitor infield-FOR ANY REASON).
